Hongkong Post announced today (August 11) that Stanley Post Office at 2 Wong Ma Kok Road would be temporarily closed after business next Saturday (August 18) for renovation work to restore the office to the same look it had when first established in 1937.
From Monday, August 20, until the expected completion of renovation work in late November, a mobile post office will be stationed at the parking space near the Stanley Public Dispensary at 14 Wong Ma Kok Road to continue to provide service to customers. The business hours of the mobile post office will be the same as Stanley Post Office. The mobile post office will provide the same range of services as those of Stanley Post Office.
