As at 9 pm today (August 10), 198 people have taken refuge in 26 temporary shelters under the Home Affairs Department because of tropical storm Pabuk.
A total of 33 reports of fallen trees have been received by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Highways Department. No report of flooding and landslide has been received so far.
The MTR, KCR, Hong Kong Tramways have reduced the frequency of services because of reduced demand. Peak Tram service and ferry services remain suspended.
The bus companies will provide limited services subject to passenger demand.
So far, air traffic remains unaffected.
