The Leisure and Cultural Services Department is inviting individuals and subvented non¡Vgovernmental organisations to apply to operate stalls in Phase IX of the Arts Fun Fair at Lai Chi Kok Park.
The new round of the Arts Fun Fair will run from 1pm to 7pm on Sundays and public holidays from October 7, 2007, to September 28, 2008.
There will be 20 stalls at the loggia of Lai Chi Kok Park (Stage III) for displaying and selling recreational, art and cultural-related souvenirs as well as pre-packed traditional snacks. Services such as painting, photography, calligraphy and sketching will also be on offer.
Applications will be considered by the department¡¦s Arts Fun Fair Stalls Vetting Panel according to the quality and variety of products, food or services provided.
Each successful applicant is required to pay a registration fee of $100 and a deposit of $1,000. The deposit will be refunded upon completion of the contract period on condition that the stall operator's attendance is 60% or above.
Prospective stall owners are also required to deposit a public liability insurance policy of a minimum amount of $6.5 million for the contract period.

Completed application forms should be submitted with copies of any proof of professional knowledge in respective fields and at least three samples of works or products before 5.30pm on August 27.
