The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, officiated at a TV variety show "Beijing 2008 Olympic Games One-year Countdown" at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza this evening (August 8). The Chief Secretary for Administration and the President of the Equestrian Committee (Hong Kong) of Beijing Organising Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, Mr Henry Tang, also attended the countdown ceremony. The variety show is jointly organised by the Home Affairs Bureau and the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China.
