Advance tickets for Pride of China Exhibition Phase II sold out

    A spokesman for the Hong Kong Museum of Art announced today (August 3) that some 30,000 advance tickets for the Pride of China Exhibition Phase II had all been sold out.

     The spokesman said that 700 same day viewing door tickets will be made available from 9am at the Box Office of the Museum of Art on a first-come, first-served basis and 700 quotas will be reserved for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department's yearly/half-year museum pass holders daily during the exhibition period.

     Phase II of "The Pride of China: Masterpieces of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy of the Jin, Tang, Song and Yuan Dynasties from the Palace Museum" exhibition, which showcases Qiu Ying's "Copy after Along the River During the Qingming Festival" of the Ming dynasty and other gems of Chinese paintings and calligraphy, is now on show at the Museum of Art until August 11.
