Pictured is a terracotta figure of a baixi acrobat of Qin dynasty (221 - 206 BC). It was excavated from the Acrobat Pit of the Mausoleum of Qinshihuang in Shaanxi Province. Made in imitation of the acrobats in the Qin palace, the figure provides evidence to the study of court life in the Qin dynasty.
