STH welcomes outcome of joint meeting on transport arrangement at airport

The Secretary for Transport and Housing, Ms Eva Cheng, welcomed the outcome of this morning's (July 19) joint meeting of the Transport Department, the Airport Authority, the Police and representatives of the taxi trade on the arrangement for the taxi and light goods vehicle loading and unloading area at the airport.
Ms Cheng said the arrangement would put in place a new order for the smooth operation of the transport services for the public and visitors at the airport.
She also called for continuous exchanges of views and communication between transport trade members and the authorities on matters of common concern.
