The Government's latest yearbook, "Hong Kong 2006", was launched at the Hong Kong Book Fair today (July 18).
The book provides a factual and in-depth account of government policy and activities and an overview of Hong Kong life and developments in 2006.
An important and long-standing reference source, the book contains useful information of record. The 21 chapters cover a wide range of subjects ranging from the economy to commerce, industry, education, health, transport and culture.
It has 15 colour sections with more than 160 eye-catching photographs, highlighting the city in bloom, its eco-attractions, stunning environment and wildlife sanctuaries. They also show Hong Kong's cosmopolitan population at work and play.
