Another sighting of a juvenile shark in Hoi Ha

The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department today (July 17) strongly advised people to stop all water-based activities in Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park following sighting of a juvenile shark in the park again this afternoon.
The shark, about three feet long, was sighted near the Hoi Ha Wan Marine Life Centre about 3.30pm.
A department spokesman said people should refrain from swimming, diving or any other water-based activities in the park for the time being, not even in shallow water.
"For their own safety, people in the water in the park will be asked by our patrol staff to leave the water immediately," the spokesman said.
