Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (July 11) that the shark flag and red flag had been hoisted at Stanley Main Beach in the Southern District at 12.30 pm today because shark prevention nets contractor found the dead body of a small shark tangled outside the shark prevention net. The Stanley Main Beach has been temporarily closed. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at that beach.
