The Correctional Services Department will next Monday (July 9) launch a seven-day campaign to find the best visit room services among penal institutions. All family visitors of prisoners will have a vote.
The Best Visit Room Services Award 2007, with the motto ¡§Courtesy in work, Sincerity to serve¡¨, was launched to promote staff awareness on the courtesy to public. It was a programme under the department¡¦s Staff Motivation Scheme, a spokesperson of the department said.
¡§From July 9 to 15, all inmates¡¦ family visitors will be welcome to cast a vote on services of the visiting institution based on their views towards staff politeness, communication, services arrangement, professional image, as well as overall cleanliness and hygiene,¡¨ the spokesperson said.
