Closure order lifted for Tsim Sha Tsui food premises
****************************************************

The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department today (July 4) lifted the closure order imposed earlier on "The Greenery" (on the third floor) and its kitchen (at basement 3) at Royal Garden Hotel, 69 Mody Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.

"The food premises and its kitchen were closed on June 21, following reports of food poisoning cases related to them. The operator has taken remedial measures after the closure, including thorough cleaning, disinfection of the premises and improvements in workflow procedures," a department spokesman said.

"During our latest inspection of the food premises and its kitchen, we were satisfied that the immediate health hazards on the premises had been eliminated.

"We have also reminded the operator and staff members to observe good personal, environmental and food hygiene at all times.

"The Director of Food and Environmental Hygiene has therefore decided to rescind the closure order and allow the food premises and its kitchen to resume operation with immediate effect," the spokesman said.
