Qian Xuan's "Secluded Dwelling" of the Yuan dynasty, one of the exhibits featured in the first phase of the exhibition. In the centre of the painting, green and lush mountains soar to the heavens. In the middle are dwellings and cottages. To the left and right of the mountains are vast expanses of water. Qian chose to overlap planes to create his landscape in light colours to evoke a subtle charm.
