Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a man was killed in Tai Po early this morning (June 24).
At about 3.15 am, a private car driven by a 19-year-old man was travelling along Bride¡¦s Pool Road heading to Tai Po. Upon reaching near Wu Kau Tang, it reportedly lost control and rammed a lamppost.
Sustaining serious injuries, he was certified dead by the ambulancemen at the scene.
The case will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic New Territories North for investigation.
