Puppet musical "Little Donkey" (with photos)
********************************************

A puppet show based on the award-winning works by renowned children's author Rindert Kromhout, "Little Donkey" is a delightful performance by the Theatre Terra from the Netherlands.

It is one of the programmes of the summer spectacular International Arts Carnival organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

Centred on the theme of friendship, the show is a heart-warming adventure about growing up. With great music, singing and a wonderful cast, it will be an attraction to children and their families.

Founded in 1977 by artistic director Theo Terra, Theatre Terra has become an internationally recognised leader in theatre by creating expressive and poetic productions based on its innovative, signature style of actor/puppet interplay.  Among the numerous accolades received by Theatre Terra is the Hans Snoek Award (The Netherlands's highest award given to theatre for youth) for Swan's Down.

"Little Donkey" will be performed in Cantonese dialogue and English lyrics (with Chinese and English surtitles) at 7.30pm from July 20 to 22; and at 3pm on July 22 at the Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium.  It will also be performed in English (with Chinese and English surtitles) at 3 pm on July 21 at the Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium.
