Hongkong Post announced today (June 13) that to align the counter opening hours with the traffic pattern and customer flow for better serving customer needs, the business hours of selected post offices would be revised from next Monday (June 18).
The business hours of Airport Post Office, Tsuen Wan Post Office, Fo Tan Post Office and General Post Office will be extended while those of Kwong Wa Street Post Office and Philatelic Counter of General Post Office will be revised. The revised business hours will be put on trial for six months. The details of the revised business hours are attached at Appendix.
Hongkong Post also announced that there would be no mail delivery during next Tuesday's (June 19) Tuen Ng Festival public holiday. All post offices will be closed except General Post Office and Airport Post Office with extended business hours. One mail collection will be arranged for all street posting boxes except those on outlying islands and in remote areas.
