The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (June 12) that since the E. coli count and total bacteria count of the water sample of Sham Shui Po Park Swimming Pool taken yesterday have exceeded the prescribed limits, the swimming pool has been closed for checking, sterilisation and cleansing.
The swimming pool will be reopened after the water quality reaches the hygiene standard.
