Ms Ada FUNG, Deputy Director of Housing (Development and Construction) (centre) and representatives from the local community officiate at the "Community Participation Scheme - Action Seedling" launching ceremony at Kwai Chung Estate today (June 9) by planting a tree together. The scheme aims to foster a sense of belonging among the tenants and community members by encouraging their participation in the greening of new housing estates. It also urges the Housing Authority building contractors to assume more social responsibilities.
