Winning entries in the "Spring Blossoms for Celebration" Photo Competition of the Hong Kong Flower Show 2007 are on display in Kowloon Park from today (June 2) until July 31.
The competition, jointly organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), received more than 5100 entries. The competition is divided into three categories - Category A: Portrait of TVB Artistes and Miss Hong Kong (Open Section and Student Section); Category B: Flowers; and Category C: Snapshots.
Winning entries include impressive photographs of beautiful flowers and plants, portraits of artistes from TVB and Miss Hong Kong title holders in the garden displays.
The 10-day Hong Kong Flower Show 2007 was held in March at Victoria Park. The photo competition was one of the major fringe activities of the show to promote community greening.
