No.3 Alarm Fire in San Po Kong Roundup

    A 35 metre x 20 metre unit on the fifth floor of a factory building at 25 - 27 Luk Hop Street in San Po Kong was severely damaged during a No.3 fire yesterday (May 20).

     The fire broke out at 7.44am yesterday and was upgraded to No. 3 alarm at 8.50am.  It was put out at 11.44am.  Firemen used seven jets and six breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.

     No casualty was reported.  Three people were led to a place of safety.  One fireman felt unwell but needed not to go to hospital for treatment.  

     No suspicious circumstances were detected about the cause of the fire.
