The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announces that the leisure pool at the Hin Tin Swimming Pool has been temporarily closed for cleaning and superchlorination following the discovery of a small amount of vomitus in the pool this afternoon.
As the leisure pool is the only pool open today, the swimming pool complex is now temporarily closed.
It will reopen at 7.30pm today.
The department appeals to swimmers to be considerate and to keep swimming pools clean. They are advised not to swim after a full meal and should use the toilet facilities if necessary before swimming.
