Sampling location clarified
***************************

A spokesman for the Centre for Food Safety (CFS) today (April 2) said that one of the retail outlets found to have sold noodlefish containing formaldehyde in its recent surveillance survey should be PARKnSHOP on ground floor, Aberdeen Centre, 19-23 Nam Ning Street, Aberdeen, and not the fish stall at Aberdeen Market as released last Friday.

"The mistake was made as the staff involved had mixed up, in filling out the record, the sampling locations of fish samples collected from the two concerned retail outlets on the same day," he said.

¡@¡@"We have apologised to the fish stall at Aberdeen Market for any inconvenience caused. The CFS would review the working procedures in collecting samples to prevent recurrence of similar incidents," the spokesman said.
