Quarterly Report on General Household Survey for July - September 2006 is now available for sale.
The report contains statistics on labour force, employment, unemployment and underemployment for the third quarter of 2006. It also contains detailed analyses of the characteristics of different categories of members of the labour force, including their age, sex, educational attainment, employment status, occupation, industry, hours worked per week and monthly employment earnings. Information on reasons for leaving last job and duration of unemployment for the unemployed is also presented.
Starting from the July - September 2006 issue, enhancements of the contents have been made to the report. Some new statistical tables are added and more detailed breakdown of existing tables are provided in the report to better meet the demand of users.
Users can download this publication free of charge at the "Statistical Bookstore, Hong Kong" (www.statisticalbookstore.gov.hk) of the Census and Statistics Department (C&SD).
Print version of this publication is available for sale at HK$43 per issue.
