The Lands Department announced today (November 14) that a residential development lot, Rural Building Lot No. 1159 at Peak Pavilions, 12 Mt Kellett Road, The Peak had been successfully triggered for sale under the Application List system.
The lot will be offered for sale at this year's fourth Government land auction to be held on December 19, 2006 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
A Lands Department spokesman said that the Government had accepted the applicant's minimum guaranteed bid of $768 million as a trigger for the offer of the lot for the sale by auction. This will be the opening bid sought by the auctioneer at the auction.
Rural Building Lot No. 1159 has a site area of about 7,353 square metres and a minimum gross floor area of 2,378 square metres must be completed. The site is designated for private residential purposes.
The final Conditions of Sale for the lot will be available for distribution and uploaded to the Lands Department's website (http://www.landsd.gov.hk) by December 1, 2006 when the particulars of the land auction will also be gazetted.
