The pioneer of China's modern naval affairs, Zuo Zongtong, who petitioned the court to found an arsenal. The photograph will be on display along with more than 100 valuable artefacts and historical photographs at the "Fujian Arsenal - Cradle of Modern Chinese Navy" exhibition, which explores the impact of the Fujian Arsenal on the development of maritime culture in modern China. The exhibition will run from tomorrow (November 3) until May 9, 2007 at the Museum of Coastal Defence.
