A workshop on building maintenance and repair is now open for enrolment. The workshop is part of the "Quality Building Management Workshop Series", organised by the Home Affairs Department's Building Management Resource Centre (New Territories East).
The workshop will be held on November 9 (Thursday) from 7.30pm to 9pm. Representatives of Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors will speak on the subject.
The workshop will be held at the Resource Centre at Room 510, 5/F, Sha Tin Government Offices, 1 Sheung Wo Che Road, Sha Tin. Applicants may either enrol at the centre or call 2158 5433 for registration forms. The deadline for application is October 26.
People who successfully register for and attend the workshop will be issued with a certificate. Those from owners' corporations and mutual aid committees of private buildings will have priority in enrolling.
There will be a quiz for the workshop to promote the issues discussed between November 13 and 25. Quiz papers will be available from the Resource Centre. A limited number of souvenir gifts will be awarded to those who can answer all the questions correctly.
