Members appointed to Insider Dealing Tribunal

    The Financial Secretary has appointed Mr Henry Ho Ka Shi and Mr Kevin Law Chi Shing as members to the Insider Dealing Tribunal to inquire into possible insider dealings in the listed securities of Dransfield Holdings Limited (now renamed as Pearl Oriental Innovation Limited) in December 2001.

     Appointment of the two members was made pursuant to section 15(2) of the Securities (Insider Dealing) Ordinance.

     Mr Ho is a practising solicitor and a Consultant of Edmund W. H. Chow & Co.  Mr Law is a certified public accountant and the Manager of Donovans Limited.  Both are familiar with the operation of Hong Kong's financial markets.

     They will sit on the tribunal under the chairmanship of the Honourable Mr Justice McMahon, Judge of the Court of First Instance of the High Court.

     The preliminary hearing of the inquiry will start at 9am on Monday (October 9) at the Insider Dealing Tribunal on 38th Floor of the Immigration Tower, 7 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
