Regional Flag Day on Saturday

Attention Duty Announcers, TV and radio stations:

     Please broadcast the following special announcement this morning (September 30), and repeat it at frequent intervals.

     The Social Welfare Department announced that today is an endorsed regional flag day. Hong Kong Aged Concern Limited, Regeneration Society Limited and Silver Power Intergeneration Volunteer Alliances Limited will sell flags on Hong Kong Island, in Kowloon and the New Territories respectively.

     For enquiries about the regional flag day, members of the public can call the department's hotline at 2343 2255, or SWD headquarters at 2832 4311 during office hours.
