SME seminar about global e-marketplace on October 9

    The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold an SME seminar on the global e-marketplace from 2.30pm to 5.30pm on October 9 (Monday) at the Lecture Theatre, Ground Floor, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau Station Exit B).

     The seminar will look into the business potential of the e-marketplace, suggest practical tips on how to start and run an online business, and share successful cases. Target audiences are owners and managerial staff of SMEs as well as potential business starters.

     Hongkong Post will also introduce its integrated postal delivery solution for online business.

     Speakers include: Mr Clement Tse, Manager, Marketplace Development, of eBay Hong Kong; and Senior Sales Manager (Corporate Market) of Hongkong Post, Mr Ken Cheng.

     The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese with free admission. Interested parties are requested to register with SUCCESS in advance as seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
