Recipients of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) whose autopay day falls on a public holiday on October 1 or 2 would receive advance payment on September 29, a spokesman for the Social Welfare Department said today (September 21).
CSSA recipients whose autopay day falls on a public holiday on October 7 or 8 will receive advance payment on October 6.
As for Social Security Allowance (SSA) recipients whose autopay day falls on a public holiday on October 1 or 2, they will receive payment either on September 29 or October 3.
For those recipients of SSA whose whose autopay day falls on a public holiday on October 7 or 8, they will receive payment either on October 6 or 9.
In case of doubt, recipients are advised to contact their respective social security field units.
