The Secretary for Security, Mr Ambrose SK Lee, will fly to Beijing later this afternoon (September 8) to start a week-long duty visit to Beijing and Guangzhou.
While in Beijing, Mr Lee will meet officials from the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the State Council's Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Communications. He will also visit the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad.
Mr Lee will then fly to Guangzhou where he will meet Public Security Bureau officials of Guangdong and Shenzhen before returning to Hong Kong on September 16.
