Motorists going to Tsuen Wan and northeastern part of the New Territories are advised to take the following routes:
1. From the Mei Foo Sun Chuen section of Cheung Sha Wan Road via Castle Peak Road, Cheung Wing Road, Kwai Chung Road, Castle Peak Road interchange to Tsuen Wan; or

If it is necessary to travel through Kwai Hing Estate, motorists can take the following routes:
1. From Kwai Chung Road near Kwai Hing Estate left turn to Kwai Yik Road, then via Kwai Fong Road, Kwai Hing Road, Wo Tong Tsui Street, Wo Kwai Lane and then left turn to Kwai Chung Road; or
2. From Kwai Yik Road via Kwai Fong Road and Tai Wo Hau Road to Castle Peak Road.
During the evening peak period from 5pm to 7pm, the following bus routes - 57M, 58M, 58P, 67M, 69M, 260C, 265M and 269M - traveling on Kwai Chung Road towards Kwai Chung will be diverted to Kwai Yick Road westbound, Hing Fong Road northbound, Kwai Hing MTR Station Bus Terminus, Kwai Hing Road northbound, Wo Kwai Lane eastbound and Kwai Ching Road northbound before resuming their original routing.
A department spokesman urged people to remain patient and follow the instructions from Police officers at the site.
The works departments were conducting urgent repair works with an aim of re-opening the closed lanes later tonight or early tomorrow. The spokesman reminded people to pay attention to the latest traffic news broadcast by TV and radio stations before leaving home tomorrow.
