CosPlay Competition in Cyberport
********************************

The following is issued on behalf of the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited:

CosPlay contests have become the latest vogue among youngsters in recent years. Cyberport will organise a CosPlay Competition on Saturday (August 26)  for CosPlayers to show off their talents and win valuable prizes including two round-trip tickets to Japan.

Always in the forefront of innovative technology, Cyberport is adding to the novelty and excitement of the competition by producing 30-second virtual video clips for each finalist, who will turn into lead characters of animation, comics or video games. Enhanced by digital special effects, these clips make the characters even more vivid. The clips are available for view and download on http://dever.cyberport.hk.

Under the principles of "Fairness, Openness & Impartiality", the competition will not only publish the photos and video clips of each finalist but also offer on-line and on-site voting for enhanced transparency. Please visit http://dever.cyberport.hk to vote for your favourite finalist until 3pm, August 26. During Cyberport Digital Entertainment Fever (Cyberport Dever) to be held on August 25 to 26, finalists will also be at the CosPlay Charity On-Site Voting Area where they will canvass on-site votes from event participants and take photos with them. All collected funds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House for helping ill and hospitalised children and their families. On-line and on-site voters will have the chance to win a PSP (PlayStation Portable).

For details, please visit the Cyberport DEver website: http://dever.cyberport.hk.
