"Hong Kong, China - Austria Joint Issue on Fireworks" Special Stamps (with photo)

    Hongkong Post today (August 22) issued the "Hong Kong, China - Austria Joint Issue on Fireworks" Special Stamps. At a ceremony  at the General Post Office this morning, Postmaster General Mr Tam Wing-pong, Director of Philatelic Department, Austrian Post Dr Erich Haas, and Consul-General, Austrian Consulate General Dr Maria Moya-Goetsch, marked the issue of the special stamps by lighting up the fireworks decoration on the backdrop. As a memento of the occasion, Mr Tam presented the officiating guests with framed stamps and first day covers.
