A three-day digital entertainment programme ¡V "Cyberport DEver" (Cyberport Digital Entertainment Fever) ¡V will be held from Friday to Sunday (August 25 - 27) at Cyberport. A variety of activities will be hosted, including the CosPlay Competition, Figure Show and Game Showcase, as well as music concerts. The programme will run from noon to 7pm on Friday and Saturday, and from noon to 6pm on Sunday.
With the aim of promoting digital entertainment, "Cyberport DEver" integrates multiple elements such as music, games and animation, which will in turn foster creativity with the younger generation, inspiring new thinking about the influence that digital entertainment has on society and the environment. The programme is open and free to the public to encourage mass participation.
Mrs Marion Lai, Acting Permanent Secretary for Commerce, Industry and Technology (Communications and Technology) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, and Mr Nicholas Yang, Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, will be the officiating guests at the opening ceremony. Renowned artist Mr Sammy Leung will be the master of ceremonies and local rising singer Vincy Chan will perform.

Figure Show

Jay Chou in different images of CD albums ¡V from "Fantasy" to "Ye Hui Mei"¡V will be on show for the first time at Cyberport. Five versions of these limited editions, branded with unique serial numbers, will be auctioned and collected funds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House for charity purposes. In addition, a team of local designers, Cyber Cross, will showcase their latest figures and products at the show.
Chinese Hero and Dragon Tiger Heroes

Popular local comics, "Chinese Hero" and "Dragon Tiger Heroes", once created a frenzy among fans. The exhibition will take a nostalgic look at the Hero, including the story of his growth, and profile all the characters, as well the artistic drawing style of the author, Ma Wing-shing. Fans should not miss the historical development of "Dragon Tiger Heroes", selected album covers, classic scenarios, movies and online games.
w-inds. Video Concert 2006

Popular Japanese group, w-inds. will have an intimate and interactive conversation with their fans through video conferencing. Their latest music video will be unveiled for the first time on the same day. Adding to the fun, renowned disc jockey Cheng Ka Fai will play games with the audience during the concert.
ROM Mini-Concert

Popular local band, ROM, is the endorser of the latest online platform "My Monkey". They are the first band to compose background music for online games in Hong Kong. During the mini-concert, the band will perform their original songs, and the full drama version of "Fateful", the theme song for "My Monkey", will be broadcast for the first time.
CosPlay Competition

A total of 30 CosPlay contestant teams will dress up as their favourite characters from animation, comics or games. The winner will be entitled to two round-trip air tickets to Japan and other great prizes. With the use of Cyberport's state-of-the art technology, the CosPlay finalists are made into the main characters of a virtual move clip. Interested individuals can visit http://dever.cyberport.hk to join the voting competition online. Voters will have the opportunity to win a PSP (PlayStation Portable) by online or onsite voting. Popular personality Kay Ho will play host to the contestants, who will give onsite demonstrations.
Animax Premiere

Cyberport Broadway Cinema will broadcast two popular Japanese animations, "Paradise Kiss" and "Honey & Clover". The former film on fashion design competitions is authored by Yazawa (also author of the film "Nana"). Mr Atsuro Tayama, designer of the A/T brand, handles the fashion design in the film. In Hong Kong, A/T fashion series, also named "Paradise Kiss", was sold out as soon as it was released in the market. The film, "Honey and Clover" is about the blissful complications of love and college life. The film was well-received in Japan and was immediately filmed for a second series and subsequently as a TV drama in Japan. Game Showcase

PSP (PlayStation Portable) and Xbox 360 and the latest electronic games will be showcased at Cyberport. A trial game zone will be set aside for game lovers to experience the latest and hottest games in town.
Cyberport.tv Preview

Cyberport.tv will present Hong Kong's first comic infotainment TV magazine program on games, "Cyber FuntAsia", an independent High Definition production by Digital Media Centre. The exotic hosts, "Cyber" and "Digi To", will travel between the future and the present to discover the remarkable development, and vivid cultural impact, of digital games. Each episode is a trip of discovery comprised of a number of segments which the audience may view continuously or separately.
The Final Episode of "Jidougames"

The final episode of "Jidougames", which is produced entirely in Hong Kong, will be on show. This episode tells the story of sports enthusiast Jidou who travels around the world to join all kinds of sporting competitions.
Music Crossover

Co-organised by the Southern District Music Promotion Ltd and SWCS Chan Pak Sha School, the "Pak Sha Orchestra" will perform some well-known Chinese and Western-style pieces, such as "Blowing in the Wind" and "Carry On Till Tomorrow".
Charity Auction and Public Sale

Cyberport will host a series of auction and charity events throughout the three-day program. During the opening ceremony on August 25, several valuable items available for public auction are: "The Three Kings" masterpiece with Mr Tony Wong's signature, stamps and "first-day issue" of "Dragon Tiger Heroes", Jay Chow figures in limited edition, and a pair of stylish Arnold Palmer shoes in limited edition. Another series of charity sales will be organised on August 25 to 27. Items for sale include w-inds.'s posters, tees, organisers, Everlast tees in limited edition, Jidou watches, game software and Keroro coin bags. In the CosPlay Competition, every onsite voter will be asked to donate $1 for each vote given. All collected funds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House for helping ill and hospitalised children and their families.
