A total of 335 persons were injured and three persons died in 279

traffic accidents which occurred throughout Hong Kong last week (August 6

to August 12,2006).

Forty-eight of these accidents occurred on Hong Kong Island, 106 in

Kowloon and 125 in the New Territories.
