Land resumption for drainage improvement works in Sheung Shui

    The Lands Department will take back 18 private agricultural lots with a total area of about 11,978 square metres in Ping Kong, Sheung Shui, to allow drainage improvement works to alleviate the flooding problem in the area.

     A notice for the land resumption was published in the Gazette today (August 11).

     The project is scheduled to commence in early 2007 for completion by late 2010.
