In view of the current situation in Lebanon and Israel, Hong Kong residents going to the two countries should keep themselves abreast of the latest developments there and pay attention to personal safety. The reminder was issued by the Security Bureau today (July 19).
A spokesman for the Security Bureau said that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government would continue to closely monitor the situation.
Hong Kong residents in Lebanon and Israel who need assistance may contact the Chinese Embassy in Lebanon (telephone number 00961-1-856133, 00961-1-850315) and the Chinese Embassy in Israel (telephone number 00972-3-5442638) or call the Hong Kong Immigration Department's 24-hour hotline at (852) 1868.
