The seventh issue of "SME Pulse", published by the Trade and Industry Department, has been released. SMEs and potential business starters are welcome to obtain a free copy from the following distribution centres or download from the SUCCESS website (http://www.success.tid.gov.hk):
- the Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) at Trade and Industry Department;
- major trade and industrial support organisations; and
- major district libraries.
The latest issue contains features on wedding planners grasping business opportunities in this wedding year; an awarding-winning designer building up his business with authentic trendy figures; the outcome of the Sixth World Trade Organisation Ministerial Conference in Hong Kong last December; using packaging techniques to build up company image and create market opportunities. The newsletter will also introduce winners of the 2005 "Hong Kong Awards for Industries"; and provide tips for better learning and use of commercial Chinese and Putonghua.
