SCIT to visit Beijing

    The Secretary for Commerce, Industry and Technology (SCIT), Mr Joseph W P Wong, will leave Hong Kong today (May 16) for a two-day visit to Beijing.

     This is Mr Wong's first official visit to Beijing since he took up his post as SCIT.

     During his stay in Beijing, Mr Wong will visit the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration of Radio Film and Television, the Ministry of Information Industry, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of the State Council. He will discuss matters of mutual interests with his ministerial counterparts.    

     Mr Wong will return to Hong Kong on Thursday (May 18).
