Stanley Prison main gate out of order

    Shortly after 3 pm today (April 13), the main gate of Stanley Prison was found to be out of order. Situation resumed normal after urgent repairs by a contractor.

     About 40 visitors were affected and services to inmates were not affected.

     A spokesman of the Correctional Services Department said gates of all institutions were inspected regularly by contractor and this incident was only an individual case.
