Police today (December 20) appealed to members of the public for information on a traffic accident in which a 76-year-old man was killed in Aberdeen on December 17.
Shortly after 4.55 pm on December 17, a light goods vehicle driven by a 23-year-old man was travelling along Aberdeen Praya Road towards Central. Upon reaching near No. 3, Aberdeen Praya Road, the vehicle reportedly knocked down the 76-year-old man who was pushing a handcart across the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the men was rushed to the Queen Mary Hospital where he was certified dead at 5.12 pm on the same day.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island are proceeding.
