The Town Planning Board (the Board) today (December 16) announced amendments to the approved Sha Tin Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve the rezoning of a site at the north of Kau To from "Residential (Group B)" to "Government, Institution or Community" to facilitate the construction of a proposed service reservoir.
Amendments also include the rezoning of four existing schools sites at Lok Ha Square, Sui Wo Road, On King Street and Hin Tai Street and an existing telephone exchange site at Shan Mei Street from "Residential (Group B)" and "industrial" respectively to "Government, Institution or Community" to reflect the existing use of the sites.
There are also adjustments to the zoning boundaries of four sites near the East Rail Sha Tin Station and Fo Tan Village to tally with the existing site conditions or as-built developments.
