Police today (December 8) charged a 17-year-old man with one count of murder.
The man was suspected to be connected with a murder case in which a 16-year-old boy was found injured and lying outside the changing room of a football pitch in Quarry Bay Park on Tai Koo Wan Road shortly after 2.35 am yesterday (December 7).
He was rushed to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital where he was certified dead at 3 am.
A post-mortem conducted yesterday revealed that the deceased was died of multiple stab wounds by sharp hard object.
Police arrested a 17-year-old man in his home in Shau Kei Wan at about 3 pm yesterday.
He was charged with one count of murder tonight and will appear in Eastern Magistrates’ Courts tomorrow (December 9) morning.
