Police today (December 7) arrested a 17-year-old man in connection with the murder case occurred in Quarry Bay earlier this morning.
The 17-year-old man suspected to be in connection with the case was arrested at about 3pm today in his home in Shau Kei Wan. He is now being detained for enquiries.
Shortly after 2.35am, a 25-year-old male security guard found a 16-year-old injured man lying outside the changing room of a football pitch in Quarry Bay Park on Tai Koo Wan Road. A report was then made to the Police.
Sustaining injuries to his head, neck, face and hands, the man was rushed to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital where he was certified dead at 3am.
A post-mortem conducted today revealed that the deceased was died of multiple stab wounds by sharp hard object.
Investigations by Regional Crime Unit of Hong Kong Island are proceeding.
