In response to media enquiries concerning a march organised by the Fire Services Department Ambulancemenˇ¦s Union (FSDAU) this morning (December 7), a spokesman for the Fire Services Department (FSD) gives the following reply:
"FSD has not initiated any disciplinary action against Mr Wat Ki-on. At present, FSD management is only collecting information about the alleged comments made by Mr Wat in the press reports.
FSD attaches great importance to communicating with staff. Like other staff unions/organisations, FSDAU is an important partner of the FSD management. FSD has maintained on-going dialogue with FSDAU regarding their concerns and will continue to do so."
