Appeal for information on missing persons (with photos)

Police today (November 26) appealed to members of the public to provide information on the whereabouts of a boy and two girls who were reported missing.

Missing boy Lam Shing, aged 14, was last seen at his home in Siu Sai Wan Estate in Chai Wan on November 14 and was reported missing by his family member the following day.

Standing about 1.7 metres and weighing about 59 kg, he is of thin build. He has a square face, black straight hair with yellow complexion. He was wearing a beige T- shirt, a pair of shorts and a pair of sport shoes when missing. He likes to wander in Siu Sai Wan, Chai Wan and Sham Shui Po.

Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the missing boy to contact the investigating officers of the Regional Missing Persons Unit of Hong Kong Island on 2860 1040 or any police station.

In another case, missing girl Chong Ka-lai, aged 16, was an inmate of a youth hostel in Sai Wan Ho. She was last seen at the hostel on September 21 and was reported missing by the staff on the following day.

She stands about 1.6 metres and weighs about 50 kg and is of medium build. She has a round face, short wavy hair in brown yellow colour with yellow complexion. She has a tatoo on her back neck. She was wearing a T-shirt and blue jeans when missing.

Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the above missing girl to contact the investigating officers of the Regional Missing Persons Unit of Kowloon East on 2703 2335 or 2703 2316 or any police station.

In the third case, missing girl Lam Wing-yi, aged 14, was last seen at her home in Ma Tso Lung in Sheung Shui on October 29 and was reported missing by her father on October 31.

She stands about 1.5 metres and weighs about 41 kg and is of thin build. She has a round face, long straight black hair with yellow complexion. She was wearing a short-sleeved shirt in grey colour, blue jeans and a pair of red sports shoes when missing. She likes to wander in Sheung Shui, Fanling and Mong Kok.

Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the above missing girl to contact the investigating officers of the Regional Missing Persons Unit of New Territories North on 2666 4499 or any police station.
