Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Lok Ma Chau early this morning (November 3) in which a 41-year-old man was killed.
The accident occurred at 2.04am, a private car driven by the 41-year-old man was travelling along the Yuen Long bound carriageway of San Tin Highway. After it passed Lok Ma Chau Roundabout, the driver reportedly lost control and rammed into the bushes and a tree on the roadside.
The private car was severely damaged and the driver was thrown out of the car and seriously injured. He was certified dead by the ambulanceman at the scene.
Special Investigation Team of New Territories North took over the case for further enquiry.
Police appeal to members of the public who might have witnessed the accident or has any information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers at 2675 3325.
