Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre, a newly established cultural facility of Leisure and Cultural Services Department, is to promote heritage conservation to the public through exhibitions and education activities. Its inaugural exhibition, "The Ancient Culture of Hong Kong: Archaeological Discoveries in Sha Ha, Sai Kung", featuring the major finds along with more than 100 artifacts unearthed from the Sha Ha excavation, will be held from tomorrow (October 29) until April 30, 2006. Pictured shows one of the relics unearthed, a coarse pottery cauldron with leaf vein design of the Neolithic period.
