The Government today (October 28) gazetted the United Nations Sanctions (Liberia) Regulation 2005 (Amendment) Regulation 2005.
"The Regulation prohibits the importation of rough diamonds directly or indirectly from Liberia. This was made in accordance with the decision of the United Nations Security Council under Resolution 1607," a Government spokesman said.
